Utah Autism Coalition (UAC) Mission
The Utah Autism Coalition (UAC) is a parent-driven, grassroots advocacy group dedicated to supporting initiatives and other programs that enhance the lives of individuals with autism and their families. It is comprised of both the families of these individuals as well as representatives from various autism advocacy organizations, agencies, and professionals who serve Utahns with Autism Spectrum Disorders. UAC believes individuals with autism deserve an early diagnosis and access to evidence-based treatments which, as proven by research, could change the course of their lives.
Our aim is to ensure that evidence-based services are available to all, and to keep you informed of progress in this area. UAC is focused in uniting the autism community and bringing awareness to the public and our state legislators.
As members of the UAC, we look toward a bright future working to enhance the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families. There are no paid employees in our organization, ensuring that your donations are effectively used in directly helping Utah families affected by autism.
Over the past year, we have collectively worked to reform statewide public policy addressing awareness and accessibility of appropriate services over the lifespan of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. We are especially grateful to our members, supporters, lawmakers, families, and caregivers who stand with us as we seek to fulfill our mission.
